MEDIAINVESTIGASIMABES.CO.ID | Mbuwa Nduga, MediaHabema – The Infantry Battalion Task Force (Satgas Yonif) Para Raider 432/Waspada Setia Jaya Kostrad, one of the units under the HABEMA Operational Command in Papua, carried out a Border Security Operation in the RI-PNG border area, particularly in Nduga Regency, Papua Highlands Province. On Saturday, December 14, 2024, the 432 Kostrad Task Force, specifically Mbuwa Post led by First Lieutenant Infantry Fahrizal Himmi Fau, conducted Social Communication (Komsos) while carrying out regional security duties. The Komsos activity included distributing basic necessities to the residents of Mbuwa Village to commemorate the 38th anniversary of Yonif 432/WSJ.
In his directive to the soldiers, the Commander of Satgas Yonif 432 Kostrad, Lieutenant Colonel Infantry Zulfikar Akbar Helmi, emphasized the importance of addressing the basic needs of the local community in their operational area. For this reason, the soldiers of Satgas Yonif 432 took the initiative to celebrate their unit’s anniversary by sharing kindness with the local residents in the form of basic necessities. “This is a form of gratitude for the anniversary of our beloved unit. We hope that Yonif 432/WSJ will continue to thrive and be granted strength and ease in serving the nation and the state,” stated First Lieutenant Infantry Fahrizal Himmi Fau.
During the distribution of basic necessities, the recipients expressed their joy with wide smiles and words of gratitude. A respected elder from Mbuwa Village, Yones Gwijangge, said, “Praise the Lord, Commander 432, thank you for the basic necessities. God bless you.”
“The initiative of Satgas Yonif 432 Kostrad to distribute basic necessities in Mbuwa Village reflects the TNI’s effort to meet basic needs and support accelerated development in the Papua region,” stated Brigadier General TNI Lucky Avianto, Commander of HABEMA, after receiving a report on the activity.
